Altea (stage name of Altea Memmi, born 1998) is a singer and songwriter from Salento. Raised between her father’s Taranta - he is the founder of the band Alla Bua - and her mother’s spiritual yoga practice, she blends ritual and meditation, rhythm and silence in her music.

During the pandemic, she began posting guitar-and-vocal videos online. In Naples, she joined the Thru Collected collective and in 2022 released her first EP, "Non ti scordar di me". In the following years, she developed a constantly evolving live show, an immersive experience rather than a simple performance. In 2025, after various collaborations with artists from the Italian indie scene, she joined Sugar Music and released her new single, "alto il mento".
