LA NIÑA, the stage name of Carola Moccia, is a Neapolitan singer-songwriter, producer and actress born in 1991. A multidisciplinary artist, she is considered one of the most original voices in the contemporary Italian music scene, capable of bringing tradition and experimentation, popular culture and an international outlook into dialogue through an artistic research that spans music, writing and the performing arts.
Raised in San Giorgio a Cremano, near Naples, in a family deeply connected to art and music, she began playing guitar as a child. After her experiences with Fitness Forever and the electro-pop project Yombe, founded together with producer Alfredo Maddaluno (KWSK NINJA), she began her solo career as LA NIÑA in 2019, developing a distinctive musical language that blends Neapolitan folklore and tradition, urban sounds, electronic experimentation and Mediterranean influences.
Her first singles, “CROCE,” “NIENTE CCHIÙ” and “SALOMÈ,” marked the beginning of a visionary artistic journey that found full expression in the EP “EDEN” (2021) and in her debut album “VANITAS” (2023), a work that weaves together Mediterranean melodies, experimental pop and a powerful reflection on female identity.
Alongside her music career, she has also established herself as an actress, making her debut in 2023 alongside Massimo Ranieri in the TV series La voce che hai dentro, for which she also co-composed part of the soundtrack together with KWSK NINJA.
In 2025, she released “FURÈSTA,” an album produced entirely by KWSK NINJA: a deep and contemporary journey that rediscovers and renews the ancestral sounds of tradition. Preceded by the single “GUAPPARÌA,” the album received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics and won the Targa Tenco for Best Album in Dialect.
In July 2026, LA NIÑA joins the Sugar Music roster and releases her new single RÀRECHE, the first chapter of a new phase in her artistic journey.
