Born in 2003, Sangiovanni is a singer-songwriter who has amassed, in just two years, nearly one billion streams, earned thirty-four platinum and gold certifications—including for his debut album Cadere Volare—and performed for over 100,000 people during his live tour from May to October 2022.
After releasing his first singles, he took part in the Italian TV program Amici 20 in 2020, reaching the final and winning in the singers’ category. In May 2021, he released his self-titled debut EP, featuring malibu, the best-selling single of 2021 in Italy, certified seven times platinum.
In 2022, he participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with Farfalle, later included in his debut album Cadere Volare, released that same year. The single became the fourth best-selling song of the year and earned five platinum certifications.
In addition to his success in Italy, Sangiovanni’s music gained traction internationally—especially in Switzerland and Spain—where Mariposas, a collaboration with Latin pop star Aitana, won the Premio Odeón for Best International Song, achieved five platinum certifications, and reached No. 1 on radio charts. In 2024, he returned to the Sanremo Festival with the single finiscimi.
In 2025, Sangiovanni marked his return to social media with a video warmly received by fans, signaling the start of a new chapter with the release of the single Luci allo xeno on April 9.
