GIOIA

GIOIA is a singer-songwriter and producer born in 1999. Originally from Bassano del Grappa, Italy, her music has reached as far as South Korea, blending R&B and soul influences with pop and electronic sounds, paired with English-language lyrics and contemporary production.

GIOIA also pays close attention to the visual identity and storytelling surrounding her music. With her single “shut up”, she gained traction on Instagram and TikTok by documenting the song's creation step by step, eventually going viral. In a short time, she received support from Vanity Fair and Vevo, which selected her as part of its Artist to Watch campaign. In 2023, she was also chosen to take part in Patrizia Pepe's Spring/Summer campaign.

Alongside building a loyal community, GIOIA has also attracted international attention. Her track “Hot Thing” gained recognition in Japan and South Korea and was featured on playlists across 18 additional countries. Her single “Cologne”, which quickly went viral on social media, samples a song by Minako Yoshida.

In 2026, she launches a new project that brings together music and cinema. The first step is the single “Rita”, created by sampling “Margherita” by Carlo Rustichelli, taken from the CAM Sugar soundtrack of “Mare matto”. The second is “riviera drive-in”, built around another CAM Sugar track, “Shark Jazz Band”, from the soundtrack of “Pericolo negli abissi”.
