Alfredo Maddaluno is a Neapolitan composer, multi-instrumentalist and art director. Together with his partner and singer-songwriter Carola Moccia he founded an artistic pop duo that originated back in 2015 (‘YOMBE’) and has evolved over the years to today with the LA NIÑA project. He has also collaborated with Colapesce Dimartino, Meg, Fitness Forever & Erlend Øye. In 2023, he took care of the artistic direction of LA NIÑA's first album, “VANITAS”, composing all the tracks: hypnotic verses and their very own experimental pop, capable of talking about strong and meaningful topics such as female empowerment. He’s still accompanying her on her journey of traditional music and a return to her roots: together they took care of the entire composition of the latest album "FURÈSTA", which was awarded the 2025 "Targa Tenco" for Best Album in Dialect. 

In 2026, he co-wrote “RÀRECHE”, LA NIÑA’s new single.

Alfredo Maddaluno co-composed with LA NIÑA the score for Edoardo De Angelis’ “Il fuoco che ti porti dentro”, in competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The film won the Soundtrack Stars Award for Best Score among the titles in the Official Selection.
